SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY

Anne Moss Rogers is an author and an emotionally naked professional public speaker.   Since that very fateful day, Anne changed her focus to taboo topics of suicide, addiction, mental illness and grief.

Charles Aubrey Rogers 2/26/1995-6/5/2016

Anne does this in memory of her son Charles Aubrey Rogers who died by suicide June 5, 2015 in Richmond, Virginia. He suffered from depression and ultimately addiction to heroin and it was a suicide by asphyxiation.

She is finding my own peace and she strives to find hope and joy in the face of the most devastating loss of her life. She knows most of  us are not living in lollipop land with shiny faces and perfect families.  She also shares your stories, too, because they are important.

You are part of this family and part of Anne’s work. Comments and notes to her after a presentation often become topics and have provided her much needed emotional support and helped her find emotional healing.

No one can do this alone. It’s the sharing from supporters that has made a difference and literally saved lives. Just know that judgment doesn’t live in Anne Moss Rogers.

Anne was an owner of a digital marketing business for many years but sold it to follow a new journey.  She serves on the board for Beacon Tree Foundation. She has written a book, Diary of a Broken Mind, that includes her story and the unpublished lyrics Charles left behind and carry a message of hope. Her book will be out in paperback October of 2019.
