Missy provides the daily leadership and forward-thinking for our company. Prior to purchasing The Speakers Network in 1996, Missy was the national marketing director for The Farrell Group, a productivity training company headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina. During her distinguished career as the head of a successful speakers bureau, Missy served for three years as showcase chair for the International Association of Speakers Bureaus and was awarded both the President’s Award and the coveted Dottie Walters Award for her service to others in the industry. She also served as educational director of the Carolinas Chapter of Meeting Planners International. Missy is passionately involved in fundraising and volunteer work for local community organizations. When she’s not working, she enjoys reading, traveling, entertaining, book club, family, and friends.
