Steve Epner works with business and association groups to lead them through a process of discover. He provides techniques to unearth their collected wisdom and turn it into action that helps organizations succeed.

 

Presentations in the language of business allow Steve's audiences to understand how technology can be applied without burying executives in jargon. He is able to explain complex concepts so that they can be understood and used. Steve shares entertaining and humorous stories that illustrate ideas that work. "The most rewarding comments I receive, are from executives who tell me: 'Now I finally understand,'" says Epner.

 

Steve Epner began working with information technology in 1966. A highly regarded industry expert, Steve is widely published (over 800 articles and 7 books) and has been quoted in national business publications including the Wall Street Journal.

 

Mr. Epner is a Computer Science graduate of Purdue University. He started his consulting practice in 1976. He was the founder and first president of the Independent Computer Consultants Association. This nationwide group continues to be a gathering point for professionals in the automation field. Epner has built a reputation for assisting clients with the integration of strategic business planning, information systems, and tactical execution.

 

In 2000, the National Speakers Associations awarded Steve Epner their highest earned award, the Certified Speaking Professional designation. In May of 2007, Purdue University awarded him a Master’s of Science degree from the College of Technology. Saint Louis University appointed him Innovator in Residence in September of 2007. He is currently working in the Saint Louis University MBA Entrepreneurship Program. Steve is also a member of the faculty of The University of Industrial Distribution and the ASU Manufacturers Representatives Certification program. Through Innovate St. Louis, Steve assists companies in finding innovative approaches to overcome business roadblocks and to improve everything they do.
