About Ben L. Adkins:

Consultant, Speaker, Trainer, Mediator. Ben Adkins has presented more than 2,600 seminars, workshops, keynotes and management retreats throughout North America. He educates, entertains, and involves audiences while providing practical instruction in an environment where participants both laugh and learn. Ben works with public, private, government and non-profit organizations. Ben's background brings depth to his presentations and includes executive management position with a national distribution company and founding two successful businesses in Chicago and Dallas. In 1985 he co-founded Adkins & Associates to provide tools for increased effectiveness. His clients are Fortune 500 companies, small and medium size organizations, and city, state and federal government organizations.

As a workplace conflict specialist, Ben mediates conflict between individuals, within teams, among board members and departments. As a trainer, he teaches others how to resolve their own conflicts. As a consultant he helps organizations achieve high-performing, conflict-free work environments. As a speaker he delights audiences with topics of workplace conflict, leadership and personal effectiveness. Ben attended the University of Houston and the University of Texas where his undergraduate studies were in psychology and business. He earned a Certificate of Quality Enhancement from Dr. W. Edwards Deming and served on the teaching staff of Texas Tech University Center for Professional Development and as a workshop leader for Leslie Graduate College, Clemson, and Rockhurst Universities. Ben is currently an adjunct faculty member of the National College of District Attorneys, for whom he lectures on management, office productivity and workplace conflict resolution. His articles appear in The Physician Manager, Texas-New Mexico Power Company Communicator, NCDA Journal, and other company and association publications. He writes a popular weekly colum in the Fort Worth Business Press and publishes a monthly Productivity Tips e-newsletter.
