About Jane Applegate:
Jane Applegate is America's leading small business expert and successful business owner and entrepreneur. She is the author of four popular books on small business management. Her best-seller, "201 Great Ideas for Your Small Business," has been translated into several languages including Russian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.
A successful entrepreneur, Applegate has founded three companies. The Applegate Group Inc., a multimedia production, communications, and consulting company, helps big companies create better products and services for business owners. She provides marketing strategies and video production services to blue chip companies including American Express, Sprint, General Motors and MasterCard, producing documentaries, television programs, music videos, and independent films.
Jane is also the founder of SBTV.com, the first streaming video website providing 24/7 news and information to entrepreneurs. Recently she served as content director for the first annual New York Times Small Business Summit. Prior to starting her own company, she was a syndicated columnist for the Los Angeles Times and a commentator for CNN and CNBC.
