Her interactive style, and immediately applicable "how-to's" have caused clients to invite her back again and again. She delivers presentations and helps lead diversity initiatives for Fortune 500 companies as well as professional associations and educational institutions.
Lenora was named as one of 100 Global Thought Leaders on Diversity and Inclusion by The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and she was featured on the cover of Diversity Woman Magazine as one of the twenty top influential diversity leaders in the US. She is a past president of the 4000 member National Speakers Association and is on the adjunct faculty of the Bryan School of Business and Economics, University of North Carolina-Greensboro where she and her award winning team have conducted research on diversity and leadership effectiveness.
Lenora has presented to audiences on in 20 countries on six different continents and even in the middle of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Some of her clients include FedEx, Toyota, Cornell University, Marriott International, American Express, Social Security Administration, Motorola and the Society of Human Resource Management, as well as associations such as ASAE (American Association of Association Executives), and National Education Association.
Before founding Excel Development Systems, Inc., a full service diversity and inclusuion consulting and training firm, in 1986, Lenora held key management positions with CIGNA Corporation, General Motors and the University of Michigan's Graduate School of Business. She is currently an adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro and Averett University.
